Description: Medium-sized fruit with smooth, green skin with yellow-green, light-tasting flesh. When ripe, skin remains green but darkens slightly and yields to gentle pressure.
More Info: Developed by a farmer, James Bacon, in 1954. A Mexican type avocado like Hass. Less oily than Hass avocados, but equally as delicious, with a buttery and creamy texture. Exceptional cold resistance a good selection for connoisseurs in USDA hardiness zones 9 and 10.
