Sweet Tart mango is a new variety of mango developed in Florida that is a hybrid of Indian origin. It is known for its sweet taste, medium-firm flesh, and fruit cake flavor. The flesh is orange in color and fiberless, with a poor flesh-to-seed ratio. The mango has strong tart components, like candy, that are balanced out by sweetness. The flesh gets yellower and sweeter as the mango ripens, ending at a warm golden hue. 
Sweet Tart mango trees produce fruit in 2–3 years, and the trees can grow to be 10–15 feet tall. The mango is most appreciated by growers in the southern USA.
