  • Sweet Tart mango is a new variety of mango developed in Florida that is a hybrid of Indian origin. It is known for its sweet taste, medium-firm flesh, and fruit cake flavor. The flesh is orange in color and fiberless, with a poor flesh-to-seed ratio. The mango has strong tart components, like candy, that are balanced out by sweetness. The flesh gets yellower and sweeter as the mango ripens, ending at a warm golden hue.
  • Sweet Tart mango trees produce fruit in 2–3 years, and the trees can grow to be 10–15 feet tall. The mango is most appreciated by growers in the southern USA.
